Announcing Updated Recertification Requirements

Your Professional Credential Depends on Timely Recertification Compliance!

To streamline and expedite compliance, Tri-Annual Recertification Policies have been updated effective January 1, 2025. NACVA’s recertification process now follows a simple 60 CPE-hour system, whereby designees must obtain 60 hours of Applicable CPE in each three-year reporting cycle to comply with recertification and maintain your valued professional certification. NACVA credential holders only need to attest to having completed 60 hours CPE credits to comply with tri-annual recertification and pay the $400 recertification fee. Completion and submission of the Recertification Attestation Form serves as confirmation to CPE earned.

Most CPAs will already have earned the required amount of CPE hours, meaning you will only need to submit the Recertification Attestation Form and pay the $400 recertification fee—unless you have completed any of the Recommended Courses, which may offset the tri-annual recertification fee.
